1934 - Mt Pleasant Colliery last worked (attended) in July, then listed as not working (DoMAR 1934)

1935 – E. Vickery & Sons Ltd takes over Mt Pleasant Colliery, with the exception of MP16, changing the name to Keira-Pleasant Tunnels (DoMAR 1935)

1937 – Reported to DoM that the A. I. & S. Coy has become the owners of the Osborne-Wallsend and the Keira-Pleasant Tunnels Collieries (DoMAR 1937)

1938 – Osborne Wallsend holes into the old workings of the Mt. Pleasant Mine (previously added to O-W leases). No mention of Keira-Pleasant Tunnels (DoMAR 1938)

1939-1951 – No reference to the Keira-Pleasant Tunnels (DoMAR 1939-51)
