This was the new name given to the Mittagong Coal Mine after a management change in October, 1890.
1895 – Two men employed and some 2,000 cfm of air. (ARDoM1895)
1896 – Three men employed and some 1,000 cfm of air. (ARDoM1896)
1896 – Mittagong, Mr. Robert Snowdon, on 29th June, notifies DoM of the closure of Box Vale Colliery and the removal of plant.
Utilising only two or three men for a couple of years the mine produced some 1,000 tons/annum until closed in June 1896 and all plant removed.
