250' of Sandon Point (Bulli Colliery) jetty washed away in June - mining ceased until repaired

Pioneer Kerosene Works - opened, owner John Graham Jnr. Mt. Kembla, American Ck seam

1866 ~

HM "Tiger" - January, washed ashore at Bulli - loss of 3 lives.

1867 ~

Mt. Pleasant Colliery – acquired by James & William Byrnes

Bulli & Bellambi Coal Co. formed with capital of $60,000 - obtained 600 acres from O'Brien and Messrs Somerville & Black.

Osborne-Wallsend Colliery - Messrs. Tulip, Nixon & Jackson sell interest to Messrs. Robson & Spiers.

Bulli Colliery - steam locos introduced.

"Moselle" - Mar. stranded on beach at Bulli.

"George" - May, 22, smashed on beach at Bulli.

Bulli Bight - Part of Sandon Point (Bulli Colliery) jetty rebuilt - washed away June 21st. (4 men died), 40 wagons lost
